Updates from Mrs Pearlyn See / Miss Stella Fernandez

Dear parents,

Greetings and hello again. Your girls are settling in well and have fallen into the routine. Thanks for the emotional support and preparation given to them.

We encourage the girls to copy the homework into their handbook. i will communicate with you on personal issues through the handbook. You could email me or write to me too.

Gentle reminder to update all particulars through the school's website if you have not done so. Appreciate if you could update the pupil personal and family data for our personal reference that is given to the girls last Friday.

I have given them the English Spelling list and Spelling will be every Friday. Please ask your girl to learn her Spelling daily so she will not feel stressed. Mother Tongue Spelling will be on every Tuesday.

Please get a mini whiteboard with a marker and duster. We will use this for Maths/MT/etc.

The T-shirts/tags have been distributed. If there are any issues, do get back to the bookshop.

Their PE/PAL programme will begin this week. They can wear their PE T-shirts on the days they have PE and PAL. If your girls wear jacket to school, we encourage her to wear the school jacket.

Just a few observations, some of the girls need more monitoring in terms of handwriting and being careful. Appreciate your help in monitoring them and ensuring that they are able to form letters properly. Please avoid getting mechanical pencils for them.

Please ensure that their hair is neat and fringes pinned up as some of them are sporting fringes that are too long. Please keep their hair accessories to school colours.

For Silent Reading, the girls need to bring an English Storybook on Monday and a Mother Tongue Storybook on Friday. Please ensure they have the storybook in their bag.

Once again, please make reading part and parcel of her timetable. Do encourage her to pen her thoughts and experiences after talking about it in her diary/journal. We will be giving a Reading Log for recording the books they have read.

If you have any concerns, do share it with us as we are in this journey together.

With warmest regards,
Mrs Pearlyn See
Miss Stella Fernandez
